It's embarrassing to admit, but I'm generally a bit of a Scrooge when it comes to Christmas. I'm all "grumble, grumble, bah humbug," in the weeks leading up to Christmas and then Christmas Eve hits and I'm all "God bless us, every one!" It's exhausting.
This year, I am bound and determined to enjoy Christmas. I'm not going to stress about gifts, wrapping, and baking. I'm just going to relax, watch It's a Wonderful Life, and drink hot chocolate while basking in the glow of our tree. Yes, I'm actually looking forward to Christmastime this year. (Just not the snow. Or the music.)
